Bespoke software is a big investment for a business - even more so than new computer equipment. Therefore, we ensure that we spend a lot of time ensuring that the process goes as smoothly as possible, and that expectations on both sides are clearly defined from the outset.

Our software is thoroughly tested right the way through the development process, ensuring that when the software reaches your business, most problems and bugs have already been dealt with.

The Process

1. Analyse
   • We begin by visiting you in your offices to discuss the project. We will go over your business processes, your current systems, and talk about the best way of solving your problems / improving those systems.
   • We will send you a quote for the job, with a simple specification.
2. Design
   • Once you have accepted our quote, we will work with you to create a detailed specification of every feature / process the new system will include. This will include a final quote, if during the process we discover the original quote was too high or too low.
3. Development
   • We will create the new system using the detailed specification and to a schedule we all agree on. Payment is staggered throughout the development process.
   • We usually provide a 'beta' release of the new software, so you can test it and make sure it works as you expect. This testing is important, as you know your business needs better than we do. During this phase we complete development, and fix any bugs that arise.
4. Implement
   • Often data needs migrating from an old system to the new one - this process can be rather complicated, so we wait until development is complete, before migrating all your data, to ensure it only happens once.
   • Once development and testing is complete, your bespoke software is released.
