Dipinto Sales eCommerce Platform
Designed and built in 2009, the Dipinto eCommerce Platform underwent a major upgrade in November 2011, bringing huge performance and stability increases, as well as a slew of new features and a new name, ikonic.
Specialising in the sale of photographs from local newspapers, ikonic
allows complete customisation of the website, from the image galleries to content-managed
pages, from p&p charges to confirmation and dispatch emails. ikonic
also has an advanced cropping tool on the website, a terminal for entering orders
on behalf of a customer, and automated transfer and image scanning tools.
ikonic integrates with two different payment systems, and is fully PCI-DSS compliant, with an industry standard Enhanced Validation SSL certificate (in non-techie speak, the green URL bar in modern browsers that gives customers complete peace of mind).
Written in ASP.NET 4.0 and using the latest MVC 3.0 technology, ikonic
v3 was built from the ground-up to ensure rock-solid performance and stability.
Currently serving nearly five million hits per month, ikonic is
going from strength to strength.
Terraplas Website
A sign of how trusted we are, clients with support contracts often ask us to redevelop
their websites for them as well. One of our recent projects is with Terraplas plc,
the world's leading manufacturer and provider of protection systems for grass, artificial
turf and ice, and portable flooring.
Terraplas work all over the world, from Amsterdam to Cairo, from Wembley to Shanghai, from Manchester to Dubai. When they approached us to redesign their website, they asked us for an 'eye-catching', 'world-leading' design, with simple navigation and easy-to-find information; and that's exactly what they got.
Using plenty of graphics to showcase their products, we created a site that is easy
to use, yet packed with information about Terraplas' world-leading products. The
updateable news feed is powered by the open-source WordPress software, showcasing
our ability to blend bespoke components with tried-and-tested platforms to create
unique products and achieve the best solution for our clients.

Safety Pass Alliance Database and Website
SPA are another existing client with a support contract, who asked us to look at
redeveloping their internal database system, and revamping their website. Their
previous database system was written ten years ago using Windows Forms - and only
one person could update it at a time.
In consultation with our client, we developed a specification for a system that allows tight integration between the website and the internal database. Training Events on the website are updated hourly with the latest information from the internal database. Training Providers can manage Training Events, request new ones, assign delegates - all through a web interface. Clients can verify that a Passport is genuine, also through a web interface.
The backend system allows SPA to manage all their passports, clients, delegates,
Training Providers and Events, from creating new Courses to printing Passports.
With nearly 1000 files and over 40,000 lines of code, SPA's database and website
is one of our largest projects, utilising our design and development resources to
the maximum.
